Wedding: Abby and Luke

What a precious couple! It was such a joy and honor to coordinate Abby and Luke's wedding this past fall at the Grand Ballroom in historic downtown McKinney, TX. Their love for each other flooded every moment of the process, making them a planner's dream!
Since the Grand Ballroom is such a gorgeous location, we decided to take the design lead from the color palette given to us, as well as to play up the mixture of elegance and natural elements. Crisp whites and luscious cream florals paired with elegant metallics popped against the natural brick wall.

The gorgeous chandeliers, amazing focal points, inspired the champagne gold bridesmaid gowns. For part of a bridesmaid gift, Abby gave each attendant simple metallic sandal flats so they could dance the night away in comfort. Likewise, each of the groomsmen received Toms to wear with their European cut suits and suspenders.

Abby was adorned in elegant, timeless lace and a simple white veil for the ceremony, which was traded for sweet baby's breath tucked behind her ear for the reception.

Touches of Abby and Luke's relationship were seen throughout the entire venue. The guests were led up the grand staircase to the ballroom by pictures of Abby and Luke clipped onto twine by clothespins. The guest book was a personalized photo book with more photos of their relationship with room for guests to sign and write blessings all around.

Abby and Luke's monogram was another uniting theme throughout the event. From the invitation seal and program to the cake design, their simple and elegant monogram served to tie everything together gracefully.

Everyone danced late into the night before sending the newlyweds off with white rose petals.

Congratulations, Abby and Luke! It was a blessing to be a part of your special day!
